The current version of GD supports various graphics formats, but not GIF. If you are looking for this please check below.
One small fix for OpenVMS required, which is submitted to the author. Also the build procedures can be found only in the version from this server. To build GD at least Libpng and Zlib are required. For build instructions please check the notes.

Old GD

Comes as a zip file.

This is the old version of GD with GIF support. You should not use this anymore to develop new applications, but since there are a number of older apps relying on it I'll still keep it around here for a while.
Some small fixes necessary to make it compile with DEC C. This also contains a fix necessary for Grace. To build the example webgif application you'll need the xvmsutils library installed at your site.
A simple frontend to gd is the tgd program, reading text files and generating GIFs from them.
